Every kid loves to shoot a basketball. So why not provide them the fundamentals necessary to put the ball in the basket more accurately? Under the direction of Hoopology University Instructor Jamie Miller, the 2018 GC Shooting Clinic will provide the opportunity for quality instruction in a fun environment every kid will enjoy. Each session will include shooting tips from a great staff along with the drills and games to practice putting those teaching points into action. A Shooting Clinic T-shirt, prizes, and the Annual Parent’s Night will compliment the week as well. Our church has been doing this clinic for over 10 years now and we have received great feed back from parents and participants from the past. We look forward to seeing many of you again and meeting others soon. You can find other details below. For more information, feel free to call us at 952.913.7313.

The Garden Communities
About one to two years into the GC story, those of us who were around decided to identify the values that we orientated our joint lives of following Jesus around. Values, in essence, are things you are actually doing. If we weren’t doing them already, then they wouldn’t have been values…they would be goals. So we didn’t write up a list of things we wanted to value, we determined the ideals we already were living out together and wrote them down. Hope that makes sense. Since that initial time, it has been awesome to witness the church grow while still treasuring the values we identified even if we haven’t spoken them audibly for some time. As we (overseers) were thinking of different types of studies for the summer, we thought it would be appropriate to have weekly discussions about our values with anyone from the church who’d like to hear more. We especially think it would be beneficial for those who’ve been doing life with us for the last 2-4ish years.
